In this video:
Tamryn and Lily demonstrate how to use your feet and legs to move your dog when they are stuck and won’t move.

Towing your dog

We replace the normal yo-yo experience of yanking your dog with a huge tug.

The less your feels a big strong jerk to move them, the less they will resist and dig in. Using your feet and your legs provides more of a steady sensation of pulling for your dog, without jerking their bodies.

• Hold the leash steady in your hands

• Either turn away from your dog or face them

• Use your feet to start walking your dog in the direction you want them to go

→ Slower smaller steps create more traction.

→ You also get more power when you lean a bit away from your dog.
